Srivatsan is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Stanford since 2019. He is advised by Prof. David Tse.
Srivatsan’s research interests are on the security and performance of blockchain protocols. Previously at Stanford, he has worked on compression of genomic data, and on lower bounds for high-dimensional optimization.
Prior to joining Stanford, Srivatsan completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai in 2019. He has undergraduate research experience in signal processing (music, speech and image), machine learning, and information theory. He also did an internship in Prof. Anantha Chandrakasan’s lab at MIT in 2018.
