Bio

Tavor Baharav is a first year PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University working with Prof. David Tse on application of multi-armed bandits to computational problems. He is gratefully supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the Stanford Graduate Fellowship (SGF). In his time as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley he worked with professor Kannan Ramchandran on coding theory and its applications to distributed computing. His interests are broadly in the areas of optimization, information theory, coding theory, and their applications in engineering problems.
